There are a bunch of series with better characters and stories. I'm really enjoying the Big Brother/Shi Xiong 3D and the Big Brother/Wang zhe 2D series. Love the characters so much more. And now that Spare Me My Lord is back, this series is waaaaay the hell down the list.

They just don't seem to think ahead with these series, they give the MC some op powers then spend every episodes rescaling them to fit the narrative.
If there was less pointless action and more interesting things occurring outside of it other than MC flirting with all these women, promising them all manner of things he doesn't have it could be interesting.

That's because this series doesnt care about the actual power structure when it comes to their MC. He's thrash but they plot armor him to escapes and wins EVERY single time.

He is complete thrash in comparison to Lin Dong and Mu Chen, and I will NOT stop saying it even with the dick riding bandwagoners who on here think this series can be compared to Fanren and Stellar Transformations. I have never seen an MC get saved so much and have to have so much people protect him but he is called one of the best MCs. It's completely stupid.

BTTH animation is undoubtedly at the top class of Chinese animations, but their fight scenes are not comparable to Fanren or Perfect World. A bunch of people dashing around and creating breaks in the void and clashing can only take you so far. The choreography of the fights that happen in Fanren and Perfect World are WORLDS apart to most Chinese series, it's not comparable.

Instead of making him stronger they releasing a bunch of stupid episodes with no progress and having him compete with persons who are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY stronger than him. It's like it's being written by people with no brains.

yea the fights are now just flying wisps of light that have explosions in between. And then they have a couple of cut scenes where a dude punches and the other person just narrowly avoiding the hit. its the same same every time. much better donghua out there.
